So we're back in Van City after about 11 hours of driving from Coos Bay, Oregon!
We made it as far down to Jedidiah Redwoods State Park and it was uh. Mayzing. Had the time of my life. Brian's friends from Ottawa, Doug and Jane plus baby Arthur came and traveled as far as to Oswald State Park Beach in Oregon with us and then they had to head back to Vancouver.
Here's an outline of our journey:
Day 1 = Drive to Seattle, Washington and stay the night.
Day 2 = Drive to Portland, Oregon and meet up with Doug, Jane, and four month old adorable Arthur.
Day 3 = Drive to Fort Stevens Campsite in Oregon with the crew.
Day 4 = Visit Cannon Beach and Oswald Beach, Oregon. Say goodbye to the Anastos clan and trek on to Honeyman State Park Campsite, Oregon.
Day 5 = Soak up some rays at the dunes and then drive down to Jedidiah Redwoods State Park Campsite, California.
Day 6 = Head back north to the Sunset Bay Campsite and spend the last night in Oregon.
Day 7 = Drive the grueling 11 hours back to Vancouver
Whew! Makes me tired just typing it! Picture time!

Gina! These pics are awesome. I've always wanted to go on a roadtrip to these beaches. I'm going to have to get info from you if I ever end up heading down there. :)

Thanks! The roadtrip is definitely worth it! The views along the coastal highway are incredible! I'm hoping the next time we hit the road again it'll be with a big group of friends/family. You and your crew are more than welcome to join in on our next big trip! :D
