OFFICIALLY A VANCOUVERITE WITH MY BRIGHT ASS RAIN JACKET FROM MEC! |
In the meantime, I have continued to study for the GREs and have applied to about 50 jobs. I did go visit Royal Columbian Hospital and try to solicit job offers from every unit but it seems as if I have just missed the hiring rush. BUT! I'm not going to give up! Even if it means applying to a thousand more jobs!
In other news, I conned Brian into going to a kick-boxing class with me at a local community center. It. Was. Hilarious. I almost died. Brian is just. so. painfully. graceful. Let's just say, I freaking wish I had a camera. It was a good workout though and for an AMAZING price -- $5.75 for each of us! I think I'm going to go ahead and sign up for the ten class deal for $45. It's so cheap!
Anyways, I will definitely try to hit up this blog more often so I don't have to upload a million photos each time! Who knew being a bum would be such a busy life!
